August 28, 2010: The Annual “All Patriots Ride” presented by
the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association – Lexington, KY
A Disadvantaged Veterans Assistance Ride (THIS IS NOT A POKER RUN). Donations of socks, gloves, scarves, thermal underwear, sweatshirts, t-shirts, flannel shirts, back packs, blankets, and/or warm clothes are being requested in lieu of an “entry fee.” Clean and serviceable used items are acceptable. Cash proceeds will be donated to the KY Veterans Affairs Trust Fund for Homeless Veterans. Donated items will be accepted at VFW Post 680 on Leestown Road beginning August 16. 10:00 AM Leave VFW Post 680 Leestown Rd, Lexington, KY. 11:00 AM Visit Thompson Hood Veterans’ Nursing Home, Wilmore, KY. 1:00 PM Ceremony at Healing Field, Lawrenceburg, KY (Lunch Provided). 3:00 PM Visit Viet Nam Memorial, Frankfort, KY. 4:00 PM Arrive at VFW Post 680, Lexington, KY (Dinner Provided) CVMA, with the help of numerous other organizations would like to give a little something to Veterans who are responsible for our freedoms but are now in need of our assistance; so show your appreciation and help some of these individuals stay a little warmer this winter. August 28, 2010: Bikers Against Abuse - Mt. Vernon, KY.
$20 1-Up, $25 2-Up to benefit the Family Life Abuse Center. Registration 10am-Noon. Ride leaves at Noon. Ride returns at approximately 3pm and will end in Renfro Valley. Cookout afterwards. For more info, call Lisa Donnelley at (606) 256-9511.
September 11, 2010: 2nd Annual 9-11 Memorial Ride – London, KY
The Kentucky State Police and Wildcat Harley-Davidson of London, KY would like to invite you to the second annual 9-11 memorial ride. The ride will take place on September 11th at Wildcat Harley-Davidson, located on Hal Rogers Parkway in London, just east of the Kentucky State Police Post in London. Registration will begin at 10 am and the ride will begin at 1 pm. The price for the ride will be $20 for a single rider and $30 for a couple. The first 100 riders to register will receive a Harley-Davidson Kick Stand Plate and a t-shirt. You can pre-register for the ride at the Kentucky State Police Post in London beginning on September 1st. Monday thru Friday 8am to 4pm. The ride will be an 80 mile round trip and will end at the Harley Davidson store in London. All money taken in for the ride will be donated to the Kentucky State Police Trooper Island Camp for underprivileged children. 9-11 is a day that all of us will never forget so please come join us in remembering those who gave all that day and those that are still giving their all for this country today. September 10-12, 2010: Bikers For Christ KY State Rally - Gilbertsville, KY.
The Kentucky Chapters of Bikers For Christ is sponsoring this weekend event at the Ken Bar Inn in Gilbertsville, KY. Package price includes lodging for Friday & Saturday nights, Banquet on Friday night, All 3 meals on Saturday and brunch on Sunday after morning service. There will be music and special speakers at each service. Our founding father of BFC, Pastor Fred Zariczny, from Oceanside, CA. will be speaking Saturday night. Sept. 12, 2010: 7th Annual Crusade for Children Poker Run - Wildcat H-D, London, KY
Ride begins and ends at Wildcat Harley-Davidson, London, KY. Registration 11am - 1pm. Kickstands up at 1:30pm. Route TBA. 1-Up $20, 2-Up $25. Additional poker hand: $5. Free t-shirt and chance to win a new 2010 H-D Sportster XL883 Iron to first 100 registered riders! Music provided by Hour Glass 11. Tickets $5 per chance at participating Kroger stores. Sept. 25, 2010: Michael (Squirrel) Warren Memorial Ride - Wildcat H-D, London, KY
9:30am Registration, 12:00pm Kickstands Up. This event will feature a 100-mile poker run throughout Eastern KY. Event will begin at Wildcat H-D in London and conclude at The American Legion Post 16, London, KY, where dinner will be served. $15 Primary Rider, $10 Passenger. T-shirts will be available. Cash prize for best and worst poker hand. 50/50 and raffles. All proceeds fo to American Legion Christmas Fund in honor of Mike Warren. Sponsored by American Legion Riders Post 16.
